How to Make Amritsari Paneer Tikka

Punjabi food is full of tasty and healthy spices. Amritsari Paneer Tikka is one of the famous foods in Punjab and other cities now. You will be impressed with the unique taste and start preparing on routine basis. The tickling mix of carom seeds, seasoning of peppy chaat masala and vibrant flavours will make the paneer tikka special.

Let’s get into the recipe now:


Ingredients


Paneer: 20


To be Mixed into A Marinade


Besan:                        ¼ cup (roasted)

Carom Seeds:             ¼ tsp

Chilli Powder:            1 tsp

Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp

Oil:                               2 tbsp

Salt to taste   


Other Ingredients


Oil for deep fry

Chaat masala for sprinkling

How to Prepare?


  • Put the paneer in a bowl. Mix with all the ingredients given in marinade section. Toss gently with your hands.

  • Heat the oil in a pan and start putting the marinated paneer pieces one by one. Wait till it turns golden brown colour. Drain and put on an absorbent paper.

  • Repeat the step 2 for the remaining paneer strips. Sprinkle chaat masala over the fried paneer and serve immediately.
